Pair of earrings from Imi n’Tanout, western High Atlas, Morocco, late 19th – early 20th century. Hand-shaped silver structure with elongated almond-shaped main plate engraved with all-over stylized curvilinear motifs. Central red glass cabochon set in a serrated bezel. Lower movable disc set with a green glass cabochon in a serrated bezel. Small protective blue bead and stylized terminal element. Old attachment system with long U-shaped wire. Surface shows patina and wear consistent with age. Amazigh female adornment from the western High Atlas combining ornament and protective function.
