Fibula (tazerzit) from the Ait Baha area, Souss, western Anti-Atlas, Morocco, late 19th – early 20th century. Cast silver subsequently hand-finished. Openwork trilobed/quadrilobed plaque with symmetrical curvilinear relief decoration. Lower rounded terminal. Long straight tapered pin with circular movable ring. Surface shows patina and wear consistent with age. Amazigh female garment fastener from the Souss region.
